While we talked thoroughly about Why it’s important to post once a week, now it’s time to discuss the optimal size and format for Google My Business post photos

According to Googles website, photos should have a minimum resolution of 400px wide by 300px tall. Additionally the photos should be in JPG or PNG format.

The ratio of the width to the heigh is going to be more important than the size, so long as your image meets the minimum size requirements. This ratio is 4:3.

If the photo does not meet the minimum size requirements the photo will be blurry or low resolution. If the photo does not match the 4:3 ratio then part of the image will be cropped out.
